The Chesley Mutual Apartments, situated at 802 Chesley Avenue in Richmond, CA, was developed through a collaboration between CHDC and Eden Housing. The project received financing from the City of Richmond, in addition to Low Income Tax Credits. Community and resident participation were vital to the development, with support from the Shields Reid Neighborhood Council. The development costs for this impactful project totaled $9.8 million. After meticulous planning and construction, the Chesley Mutual Apartments were successfully completed in August 2005, providing affordable housing options for the community.
