The Community Heritage Senior Apartments were developed through a collaboration between CHDC and Eden Housing, with financing from the Contra Costa County Redevelopment agency, City of Richmond, and HUD 202. The development process involved community and resident participation, including MAC Approval and Tenant Participation. With development costs totaling $7.9 million, which also includes 10,000 square feet of commercial space, the property was completed in June 2000, providing affordable housing and fostering a strong sense of community for senior residents.
